The Speedmaster Heritage is a beautiful and timeless offering from Omega's flagship line, honoring the CK 2998 model which was the "First Speedmaster in Space" – a tagline proudly engraved on the caseback. The original model was worn by Walter Schirra during the Sigma 7 mission of the Mercury program. This version pays homage with every detail, down to the CVD coated dial that mimicks the CK 2998 dial tone. The watch even features a massively domed and vintage-inspired sapphire crystal, designed to replicate the original hesalite crystals but with modern scratch resistance. Powering the Speedmaster Heritage is Omega's in-house Caliber 3861 mechanical movement with 50 hours of power reserve.
