The Royal Oak is Audemars Piguet's timeless classic, first designed by Gerald Genta back in 1972. There have been countless variations since, but perhaps none as classy and eye-catching as the solid gold 15450OR, first introduced in 2012. This example is in pristine new old stock condition. The case measures an almost vintage 37mm in diameter, making it wear comfortably small on wrist. The watch is definitely still noticeable however, clocking in at 187 grams. Aesthetically, the watch is simple and true to the early Royal Oaks, featuring a black Tapisserie dial and a date window at 3 o'clock. Powering the 15450OR is Audemars Piguet's in-house Caliber AP 3120 automatic movement with 60 hours of power reserve.
