The PAM01057 was ahead of its time when it was released in 2019. The green watch hype built steadily over the next four years, making this watch more and more desirable. Limited to just 77 units, this watch was made as a collaboration with Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is featured on the sapphire crystal caseback. The PAM01057 features a beautiful 1950 case made from solid rose gold (Panerai’s proprietary “Goldtech” alloy), with an olive green dial and matching silicone strap. The watch is nearly identical to the ever-popular PAM00654, with several notable differences, such as the white sandwich indices, redesigned chapter ring, and modified chronograph subdial. Powering the PAM01057 is Panerai’s in-house Caliber P.9100 automatic movement with 72 hours of power reserve.
