Description:
The Yacht-Master 40 in Oystersteel, reference 126622, is a step up from a base Submariner but with tasteful class and not flash. Many find the 40mm case much more wearable than the 41mm Submariner cases, with better all round proportions. The case and bracelet (featuring polished center links) are both made using Oystersteel, while the sandblasted bidirectional bezel is made from Rolex’s proprietary platinum. This combination of alloys is known as Rolesium. The beautiful sunburst grey Rhodium dial features a date window at 3 o’clock, a contrasting sky blue second hand, and matching line of text reading “Yacht-Master.” Powering the 126623 is Rolex’s in-house Caliber 3235 with 70 hours of power reserve.
