Description:
The Chopard 16/8459 is a bold chronograph from the Mille Miglia Gran Turismo XL collection, combining classic racing details with a substantial modern design. The collection reflects Chopard’s long-running partnership with the historic Mille Miglia road race, which began in 1988. It features a 44mm stainless steel case paired with a brown leather strap. Its black dial features oversized Arabic numerals, three chronograph counters, and a magnified date window at 3 o’clock. A tachymeter scale surrounding the dial adds to the watch’s motorsport-inspired appearance and can be used to measure average speed. This set also includes a Mille Miglia-branded tire pressure gauge, a unique accessory that further connects the watch to its automotive inspiration. Powering the 16/8459-3001 is the ETA Valgranges Caliber A07.211 automatic chronograph movement (based on the Valjoux 7750 architecture) with approximately 48 hours of power reserve.
