While technically considered to be Rolex's entry-level model, the Oyster Perpetual contains and expresses the prestigious DNA of Rolex watchmaking. In a way, the Oyster Perpetual is one of the most true-to-history watches in Rolex's current catalogue, with perhaps only the Submariner having a longer history. This is the only watch in the brand's lineup that is named after two words that appear on every other watch they produce – every Rolex watch has the word "Oyster," signifying its waterproofness, and "Perpetual," signifying an automatic movement. The Oyster Perpetual lineup is a simple, elegant, time-only watch that is both waterproof and automatic, hence the name. The case measures 41mm in diameter and is extremely wearable in all settings. Powering the 134300 is Rolex's in-house Caliber 3230 automatic movement with 70 hours of power reserve.
