Description:
The PAM00438, commonly known as the “Tuttonero,” is one of Panerai’s most distinctive all-black designs. Introduced in 2012, it extended the use of black ceramic from the case to the matching bracelet, while even giving the movement a black finish. It features a 44mm Luminor 1950 case made from matte black ceramic, paired with a matching ceramic bracelet. Its black sandwich dial features beige Arabic numerals and hour markers, along with a date window at 3 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. A blue GMT hand displays a second time zone, while the power reserve indicator is positioned on the movement and visible through the sapphire caseback. Powering the PAM00438 is Panerai’s in-house Caliber P.9001/B automatic movement with three days of power reserve.
