The Everose gold is a proprietary alloy blended and crafted by Rolex themselves. Although brown isn't the first thought for a dial color, this watch masterfully extracts class and elegance from what is typically a mundane color. The Roman numeral indices are the classiest and most timeless index option for the Day-Date, and are also produced in Everose. Powering the 228235 is Rolex's in-house Caliber 3255 automatic movement with 70 hours of power reserve.
