The Yacht-Master 42 in full titanium is Rolex's second venture into titanium watches, following only the Deepsea Challenge 126067, introduced in 2022 and discontinued in 2025. The Yacht-Master had mixed reactions upon its debut in 2023, but it has since become a very respected and collectible piece from Rolex's catalog. Titanium watches aren't scarce, but a titanium dive watch of this caliber is harder to come by; the best alternative would be Tudor's Pelagos 39. In a way, the 226627 fills a hole in the market rather perfectly. Its case measures 42mm in diameter and is made from Rolex's Grade 5 titanium, making it highly durable and immensely strong. The watch also fills a perfect in-between for anyone who wants a titanium Submariner, as the 226627 shares many similarities with the 126610LN. Powering this watch is Rolex's in-house Caliber 3235 automatic movement with 70 hours of power reserve.
