The Yachtmaster II is an often overlooked model from Rolex’s catalog, but it is second only to the Skydweller in terms of practicality and complexity of its movement. Designed as a regatta watch for the dedicated sailor, the Yachtmaster II features a column wheel chronograph, small seconds, and a world-first programmable countdown to perfectly measure the start of a yacht race. These features are made possible by Rolex’s in-house Caliber 4161 automatic movement with 72 hours of power reserve. The 44mm case and bracelet are made entirely from Rolex’s proprietary yellow gold.
